QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to stay away from the ways and traditions of ignorance. He said that anyone who follows these practices is not a part of his community. In this hadith, he was warning us against certain behaviors such as slapping one's cheeks, tearing one's clothes, or following any other customs from pre-Islamic times. These behaviors are not acceptable in Islam and should be avoided at all costs. We should strive to follow only those teachings which have been prescribed by Allah SWT in the Quran and Sunnah. This hadith serves as a reminder for us to stay away from anything that goes against Islamic teachings so that we can remain true believers in our faith.
