EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of being mindful of one's words and actions. It is reported on the authority of Shu'ba that we should be careful with our speech and action, as they are both reflections of our inner selves. We should strive to ensure that our words are kind, truthful, and beneficial, while also making sure that our actions are done with good intentions. By doing so, we can ensure that we remain mindful in all aspects of life.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “A person’s faith is not complete until his heart is complete; his heart will not be complete until his tongue is complete; his tongue will not be complete until he speaks truthfully; he will not speak truthfully unless he acts truthfully; he will not act truthfully unless he has good intentions”. This hadith teaches us to always strive for excellence in all aspects - from what we say to how we act - by having a pure heart filled with good intentions. We must remember that everything we do reflects upon us as individuals, so it is important to always think before speaking or acting in order to ensure that what comes out reflects positively on us as Muslims.
