QUICK LESSONS:
Give people a chance at living their lives; Be generous with your resources; Help those who are less fortunate than you; Offer words of encouragement and support.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Abu Huraira states that it is permissible to grant life. This means that it is allowed for someone to give another person a chance at living or continuing their life. This could be in the form of providing them with food and shelter or even just offering them words of encouragement and support. The Prophet Muhammad was emphasizing the importance of giving people a chance at living their lives and not taking away any opportunity they may have for success or happiness. He was also teaching us about being generous with our resources and helping those who are less fortunate than us.
