QUICK LESSONS:
Prioritize your prayers over other activities ; Be mindful of how much energy you expend while traveling ; Take care of yourself first before engaging in any activity ; Conserve your energy while traveling ; Fulfill your obligations on time ; Use your time wisely .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik explains that when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was travelling, he would delay his Zuhr prayer until it was time for Asr. If the sun had already declined at noon, then he would perform his Zuhr prayer before continuing on with his journey. This teaches us that we should prioritize our prayers over other activities in our lives. We should also be mindful of how we use our time so that we can fulfill all of our obligations in a timely manner.

The Prophet ﷺ also taught us to be mindful of how much energy we expend during travel so as not to tire ourselves out too quickly or become ill from overexertion. By delaying his prayers until later in the day while travelling, this allowed him to conserve some energy for completing other tasks during his travels such as preaching or teaching others about Islam. This is an important lesson for us today as well; even when travelling or engaging in any activity, it is important to take care of ourselves first so that we can continue doing good deeds without becoming exhausted or ill from overexertion.
