Signs of Allah in Sun & Moon Eclipses

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that the sun and moon eclipses are signs from Allah, and when they occur, one should stand up and pray.

Narrated Abu Mas'ud: The Prophet said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death of someone from the people but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. When you see them stand up and pray".

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Mas'ud teaches us that the sun and moon eclipses are signs from Allah. These events remind us of His greatness, power, and mercy. When we witness these events, we should stand up to pray as a sign of respect for Him. This hadith also reminds us to be humble before God's power as He is the one who controls all things in this universe. We should not think that these events happen because of any human action or death but rather they are part of God's plan for this world.
