QUICK LESSONS:
Seclude oneself in a mosque or other place for worship; Devote time solely to prayer & reflection; Engage in acts such as charity & fasting; Recite Quran; Perform i’tikāf if possible.

EXPLANATIONS:
During the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to observe a spiritual practice known as i’tikāf. This is when a person secludes themselves in a mosque or other place for worship and devotes their time solely to prayer and reflection. It is believed that this practice helps one become closer to Allah and gain spiritual rewards. Additionally, it is said that during these ten days, the gates of heaven are open and prayers are answered more easily than usual. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to take advantage of this time by engaging in acts such as charity, fasting, reciting Quran, and performing i’tikāf if possible.
