Follow Allah's commands and be obedient towards Him even if we don't understand why something is being asked from us at first; Show charity and kindness towards others; Fast during Ramadan when it becomes obligatory; Feed a needy person as an act of charity when breaking your fast before revelation comes down from Allah .

This hadith is about the obligation of fasting during the month of Ramadan for all Muslims. During the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), people were allowed to observe fast according to their own liking in this month, but after a verse was revealed from Allah, it became obligatory for all Muslims to observe fast during this month. As an expiation for those who broke their fast before this revelation, they were asked to feed a needy person as an act of charity and kindness. This hadith teaches us that we should always follow Allah's commands and be obedient towards Him even if we don't understand why something is being asked from us at first. It also teaches us about charity and kindness towards others which is one of the most important values in Islam.
