Dedicate yourself to worshipping God; Use your time wisely; Do not be distracted by worldly matters while attending religious gatherings such as sermons or prayers; Ask for forgiveness from God; Have faith in Him.

This hadith is about an incident that happened during one of Prophet Muhammad's sermons on Friday. A caravan from Syria arrived and many people left the sermon to go and look at it, leaving only twelve people with him. It was then that Allah revealed a verse in the Quran regarding Jumu'a prayer which states "And when they see merchandise or sport, they break away to it and leave thee standing". This hadith teaches us that we should not be distracted by worldly matters while attending religious gatherings such as sermons or prayers, as our focus should be on worshipping Allah instead. We must remember that our time here is limited and we must use it wisely by dedicating ourselves to worshiping Allah instead of being distracted by worldly matters.
