The Benefits of Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of prayer and its benefits.

This hadith has been narrated by Husain with the same chain of transmitters but with this alteration that he did not make mention of the standing position.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ يَخْطُبُ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ قَائِمًا

It also helps us to stay away from sins and bad deeds. When we pray, we are in a standing position which shows our humility before Allah. We should always strive to make our prayers meaningful by focusing on the words that we say during them.

By praying regularly, we can become closer to Allah and gain His mercy and forgiveness for our sins. We should never forget the importance of prayer in our lives as it is one of the most important acts that a Muslim can do in order to please Allah and gain His blessings in this life as well as the hereafter.
