EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the signs of a hypocrite. A hypocrite is someone who pretends to be something they are not. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that there are three signs that show someone is a hypocrite. Firstly, they lie when they speak; secondly, they break their promises; and thirdly, if you trust them with something important, they will betray you by not keeping their word or being dishonest. This hadith teaches us to be honest in our words and actions so that we can stay away from hypocrisy and its consequences. It also teaches us to think carefully before making any promises as we should always strive to keep our word no matter what happens. Finally, it reminds us to be careful when trusting people with important matters as some people may not keep their word or act in an untrustworthy manner.
