Be honest with yourself and others; strive for integrity; take responsibility for your actions; do not lie or spread false information about people or things; think before you speak or act; consider how your words may affect other people's feelings or reputation before you say them out loud.

This hadith talks about the consequences of lying. It was narrated by Samura bin Jundub, who said that Prophet Muhammad saw two men in a dream. They told him that the person whose cheek was torn away from his mouth to his ear was a liar and used to tell lies, which were then reported on his authority until they spread all over the world. As a result, he will be punished like this until the Day of Resurrection. This hadith teaches us that we should not lie because it can have serious consequences for us in this life and in our afterlife as well. We should always strive to be honest with ourselves and others so that we can live our lives with integrity and honor.
