Shave your head , Fast for three days , Feed six poor persons , Slaughter a sheep as a sacrifice .

During the period of Al-Hudaibiya, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) visited Ka'b bin Ujrah who was lighting fire underneath a cooking pot and lice were falling down his head. The Prophet asked if the lice hurt him and he replied yes. In response to this, the Prophet advised him to shave his head and fast for three days or feed six poor persons or slaughter a sheep as a sacrifice in order to get rid of the lice. This hadith teaches us that charity is an important part of our faith as Muslims; it is also an act that can help us gain rewards from Allah Almighty. Furthermore, it shows us how compassionate our beloved prophet was towards others; even when faced with such minor issues like louse infestation he provided solutions that would benefit both himself and those around him.
