EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of conquest, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Mecca with a stick in his hand. He saw that there were 360 idols around Ka'ba and started striking them with his stick while proclaiming that truth has come and falsehood will not start or reappear. This hadith teaches us about the importance of truth over falsehood, as well as how to stand up for what is right even if it means going against popular opinion. It also shows us how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was determined to spread Islam throughout Arabia by destroying any symbols or practices associated with idol worship. Finally, it reminds us that we should always strive to speak out against injustice and proclaim what is true even if it means facing opposition from those around us.
