Respect places of worship, follow instructions from leaders within Islamic boundaries, preserve places of worship for future generations .

During the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, there was no wall around the Ka’ba in Makkah. It was only when Umar became Caliph that he built a wall around it. Later on, Ibn Az-Zubair raised its height. This hadith shows us how important it is to respect places of worship and take care of them properly so that they can be preserved for future generations to come. It also teaches us about respecting our leaders and following their instructions as long as they are within Islamic boundaries.
