This hadith is about how important it is to take safety measures when doing any kind of work. In this case, it was rebuilding the Ka’ba. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and ‘Abbas were carrying stones for this purpose when ‘Abbas suggested that Muhammad ﷺ should tie a waist sheet around his neck so that he would not be hurt by them. However, as soon as Muhammad ﷺ took off his waist sheet, he fell unconscious on the ground with both eyes towards the sky. This shows us how important it is to take safety precautions even if they seem unnecessary at first because they can save us from harm in unexpected ways. It also teaches us to always listen carefully to advice given by those who are more experienced than us in certain matters because their wisdom can help protect us from danger or harm in ways we may not have thought of ourselves.
