Follow Islamic teachings & commands , Respect elders , Be punctual in prayer .

This hadith highlights the importance of prayer and specifically witr prayer. It was narrated that a man from Banu Asad said that Ali bin Abi Talib came out to them and they asked him about Witr. He replied saying that the Prophet Muhammad commanded them to pray witr at a certain time. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to follow the teachings and commands of Prophet Muhammad in order to gain reward from Allah Almighty. Furthermore, it also teaches us how important it is for Muslims to pray their prayers on time as prescribed by Islam in order for their prayers to be accepted by Allah Almighty. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us about respecting our elders and following their advice as Ali bin Abi Talib was respected by those present who asked him about witr prayer even though he wasn't an official religious scholar or teacher himself.
