Sacrifice and Avoiding Shaitan's Suggestions

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ advised a man to sacrifice his she-camel and not to follow the suggestions of Shaitan.

It was narrated that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: A man came to the Prophet and said: I vowed to sacrifice my she-camel and to do such and such. He said: 'As for your she camel, sacrifice it. But as for such and such, it is from the Shaitan'.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ فَقَالَ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ نَاقَتِي وَكَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ قَالَ أَمَّا نَاقَتُكَ فَانْحَرْهَا وَأَمَّا كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ فَمِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and told him that he had vowed to sacrifice his she-camel. The Prophet advised him to fulfill his vow by sacrificing the camel, but also warned him against following any suggestions from Shaitan. This hadith teaches us that we should always keep our promises, even if it means making sacrifices, but at the same time be aware of any temptations or suggestions from Shaitan which could lead us astray. We should strive to do what is right in accordance with Islamic teachings and avoid anything that could lead us away from them.
