SUMMARY: Allah will accept the repentance of a person until their death.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that the Prophet said: "Allah accepts the repentance of His slave so long as the death rattle has not yet reached his throat".

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek forgiveness from Allah sincerely while alive .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that Allah is always willing to forgive us for our sins and mistakes. He will accept our repentance as long as we are alive and have not yet passed away. We should take advantage of this mercy by repenting sincerely for any wrongdoings we may have committed in the past. It is important to remember that once we die, it will be too late to ask for forgiveness from Allah. Therefore, it is essential that we make use of this opportunity while we still can and turn back to Him in sincere repentance before it's too late.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that when asking for forgiveness from Allah, one should not only regret their actions but also make a firm intention never to repeat them again in the future. This hadith reminds us of how merciful and forgiving Allah is towards His slaves and encourages us to take advantage of His mercy by seeking His forgiveness whenever necessary.
