EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that regret is a form of repentance. It was narrated by Ibn Maqil, who said he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say that regret is repentance. This means that if we do something wrong and feel bad about it, this feeling of remorse can help us to repent and make up for our mistake. We should not ignore our feelings of guilt or shame but instead use them to motivate ourselves to make amends and become better people. By recognizing our mistakes and taking responsibility for them, we can learn from them and grow in faith and character.
