Prohibition of Intoxicants

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has forbidden the consumption of any intoxicants.

It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allah said: "Every intoxicant is unlawful".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ
