EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Aishah explains that stealing is wrong and should be punished accordingly. The Prophet Muhammad advised that if someone steals something worth one quarter of a Dinar or more, then their hand should be cut off as punishment. This punishment was meant to discourage people from stealing and to protect the rights of others in society. It also serves as an example for other people who may consider committing similar crimes in the future. The hadith teaches us that we must respect other people’s property and not take what does not belong to us without permission or consent from its rightful owner.
