Allah's Right to Support

SUMMARY: Allah has a right to support those who fight in His path, those seeking to pay off their manumission debt, and those seeking chastity through marriage.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rights of Allah and how He supports certain people. The Messenger of Allah said that there are three types of people who have a right upon Allah for His support. The first type is the warrior in the path of Allah, or Mujahid. This means someone who fights for the sake of Islam and its teachings. The second type is someone called a mukatab, which refers to someone trying to pay off their manumission debt so they can be freed from slavery. Lastly, the third type is someone getting married with an intention of being chaste or having taqwa in their relationship with their spouse. All three types have a right upon Allah for His support as they are striving towards something good and beneficial for themselves and society as a whole.
