QUICK LESSONS:
Take breaks in between your fastings days so you can appreciate all of Allah's blessings and reflect on your faith.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that fasting continuously is not beneficial and will not be rewarded. It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Shikhkhir that his father said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever fasts continually, he neither fasts nor breaks his fast.” This means that if someone chooses to fast every day without taking a break, then they are not actually fasting in the way it was intended by Allah. The Prophet Muhammad taught us that we should take breaks in between our fasting days so we can enjoy life and appreciate all of Allah’s blessings. Taking a break from fasting allows us to reflect on our faith and practice self-discipline when it comes to food consumption.
