The Limits of Fasting

SUMMARY: Fasting continuously is not recommended.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that the Messenger of Allah said: "There is no fasting for one who fasts continually".
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ لاَ صَامَ مَنْ صَامَ الأَبَدَ
