Raising Hands During Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) raised his hands to a certain level when he began the prayer, bowed in Ruku, and raised his head from Ruku.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah raising his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders when he started the prayer, and when he bowed in Ruku’, and when he raised his head from Ruku’, but he did not raise them between the two prostrations".

QUICK LESSONS:
Raise your hands up to shoulder level when beginning the prayer, bowing in Ruku and raising your head from Ruku.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would raise his hands up to shoulder level when beginning the prayer, bowing in Ruku, and raising his head from Ruku. This is an important part of Islamic prayer as it is a sign of humility and submission to Allah. It also serves as a reminder for Muslims to be mindful of their actions during prayer and focus on their connection with Allah. Additionally, this hadith teaches us that we should not raise our hands between two prostrations during salah. This shows us that we should remain humble throughout our prayers and not become distracted by anything else while praying.
