Sunan Ibn Majah 857 (Book 5, Hadith 55) #30209
The Power of Saying "Amin"

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised Muslims to say "Amin" often as the Jews are envious of this practice.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said: "The Jews do not envy you for anything more than they envy you for the Salam and (saying) Amin, so say Amin a great deal".

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that when we greet someone with a salutation of peace and say “Amin” afterwards, it is something that the Jews envy us for. He encouraged us to say “Amin” often as it is a powerful expression of faith and devotion to Allah. This hadith teaches us the importance of expressing our faith in Allah through words and actions. It also reminds us not to be jealous or envious of others but instead be grateful for what we have been blessed with by Allah. We should strive to spread peace and love in our communities by greeting each other with salutations of peace and saying “Amin” afterwards.
