This hadith highlights the importance of prioritizing one's family and household duties before attending to their religious obligations. It is narrated by Aswad bin Yazid that he asked Aishah what the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) would do when he entered his house, to which she replied that he would busy himself with serving his family and then attend to prayer when it was due. This hadith teaches us that although religion is important, it should not be prioritized over our families and households as they are also a part of our responsibilities in life which must be fulfilled first before we can attend to other matters such as prayer or worshiping Allah SWT.
