EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of prayer in maintaining faith. It is narrated by Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said, “Between a servant and unbelief there is the abandonment of prayer”. This means that if one does not pray, they are at risk of losing their faith and becoming an unbeliever. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to make sure they are regularly praying in order to stay true to their faith and beliefs. Additionally, this hadith also serves as a reminder that prayer should be done with sincerity and devotion so that it can be beneficial spiritually as well as physically.

Prayer helps us stay connected with Allah and strengthens our relationship with Him through remembrance and supplication. It also helps us become more mindful about our actions throughout the day since we have to take time out from our daily lives in order to pray five times a day according to Islamic teachings. Furthermore, prayer can help us become better people by teaching us patience, humility, gratitude, discipline etc., which are all essential qualities for leading a successful life both on earth and in the hereafter.
