Making Nabidh - Vessels Forbidden

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) forbade people from soaking fruits in certain vessels to make Nabidh.

Thumamah bin Hazn Al-Qushayri said: "I met 'Aishah and asked her about Nabidh. She said: 'The delegation of 'Abdul-Qais came to the Messenger of Allah SAW and asked him in which vessels they should soak (fruits - to make Nabidh). The Prophet SAW forbade them to soak (fruits) in Ad-Dubba' (gourds), An-Naqir, Al-Muqayyar, and Al-Hantam'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on making a beverage called Nabidh. It was narrated by Thumamah bin Hazn Al-Qushayri, who said that he asked Aishah about how to make this drink and she told him that the delegation of Abdul Qais had asked the Prophet Muhammad which vessels they should use for soaking fruits to make it. The Prophet then forbade them from using four specific vessels, which were Ad Dubba', An Naqir, Al Muqayyar and Al Hantam.
