Prohibiting the Use of Gourds

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade the use of Ad-Dubba' (gourds).

It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "He forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds) specifically".
أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، بِذَاتِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of using gourds by Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It was narrated by 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, that he specifically forbade Ad-Dubba'.
