Keep your promises when giving gifts .

This hadith teaches us about the importance of keeping our promises when it comes to giving gifts. According to this hadith, it is not permissible for anyone to give a gift and then take it back, except from one's son. The Prophet Muhammad used an example of a dog eating and vomiting before going back to its vomit as an illustration for this concept. This means that if someone gives something away but takes it back later on, they are like the dog in this example; they are going against their own word or promise by taking something back after giving it away. This hadith also teaches us about being responsible with our words and actions; we should think carefully before making any promises or commitments so that we can keep them in the future without having to go against them later on.
