QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity on behalf of deceased loved ones

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of giving charity on behalf of deceased loved ones. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that Sa'd asked the Prophet whether he should give charity on behalf of his mother who had passed away without leaving a will. The Prophet replied in the affirmative, indicating that it is an act which is encouraged and rewarded by Allah SWT. Giving charity in this way can be seen as a way to honor and remember our deceased loved ones, as well as being an act which brings us closer to Allah SWT. It also serves as a reminder for us to make sure we leave behind wills so that our wishes are fulfilled after we pass away.
