Give in charity on behalf of deceased people

This hadith speaks about the benefits of giving charity on behalf of a deceased person. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) if it would benefit his mother if he gave in charity on her behalf. The Prophet Muhammad replied that it would indeed benefit her. The man then said he had a garden and asked the Prophet to bear witness that he was giving it in charity on his mother's behalf. This hadith teaches us that giving in charity, even after someone has passed away, can still be beneficial for them and will help them gain rewards from Allah Almighty. It also shows us how important it is to give back to those who are less fortunate than us, as this act will bring blessings upon ourselves and our loved ones even after they have passed away.
