QUICK LESSONS:
Have an intention before dawn when engaging in acts of worship such as fasting.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of having an intention when fasting. It was narrated by Hafsah that there is no fast for the one who does not intend to fast before dawn. This means that in order for a person's fasting to be valid, they must have an intention or purpose behind it before dawn. Having this intention is essential as it helps a person focus on their spiritual goals and objectives while fasting, rather than just going through the motions without any thought or purpose behind it. Additionally, this hadith teaches us about accountability and responsibility; we are responsible for our own actions and intentions, so we must make sure that our intentions are pure and sincere when engaging in any act of worship such as fasting.
