EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the power of patience. It was narrated by Thabit that he heard Anas say that the Prophet Muhammad said, “True patience is that which comes at the first blow”. This means that true patience is demonstrated when faced with the first difficulty or challenge. It takes strength and courage to remain patient in difficult situations, but it can be done if we remember to take a deep breath and think before we act or speak. We should also remember that Allah will reward us for our efforts in being patient, as He knows how hard it can be sometimes!
