EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the importance of prayer in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if one is able to catch up with a Rak'ah of the prayer, then they have caught up with it. A Rak'ah is an individual unit or cycle within a Muslim's daily prayers and consists of standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting in between two prostrations. This hadith emphasizes the importance of making sure we are able to complete our prayers even if we are late or running behind schedule. It also encourages us to make sure we do not miss any part of our prayers as this would be considered incomplete and unacceptable according to Islamic teachings. Additionally, this hadith reminds us that Allah will always accept our efforts no matter how small they may be as long as we put forth effort into completing them properly and sincerely for His sake alone.
