Catching Up With Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that if one catches up with a single Rak'ah of the prayer, then they have caught up with the prayer.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: "Whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of the prayer, then he has caught up with the prayer".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to pray on time and in full.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad teaches us that if we miss a part of our prayer, we can still catch up and complete it. This is an important lesson for Muslims to remember as it is one of our five pillars of faith. We must always strive to pray on time and in full, but if something happens and we are unable to do so, this hadith reminds us that all hope is not lost. We can still make up for what was missed by catching up with the prayer. It also teaches us about perseverance and dedication; even when things don't go as planned or expected, we should never give up but instead find ways to make things right again.
