Current Relief Programs

HHRD Palestine Support is providing aid to Palestinians affected by the Gaza crisis, which has resulted in over 11,000 civilian deaths and 26,000 injuries. The organization has assembled 1,000 Family Dignity Packages, including food, water, hygiene kits, and blankets, to provide relief to the victims. These packages are being transported to the Rafah border of Egypt and Gaza by Jordanian authorities, where local partner NGOs are ensuring they reach the victims.

The crisis continues, with 222,000 homes damaged, 40,000 destroyed, and 1.55 million internally displaced. The blackout since October 11th has further exacerbated the situation, with hospitals, schools, masjids, churches, bakeries, and ambulances bombed, killing hundreds of medical and humanitarian staff. HHRD MENA and trusted NGOs have been providing humanitarian programs and projects for over 1.8 million Palestinians over the years, resulting in over 29,417 beneficiaries receiving emergency relief, support for 6,250 orphans, and educational assistance for over 551 individuals.

The Winter Relief Program aims to provide warmth to refugees in camps, addressing urgent needs and ensuring resources for staying warm, healthy, and safe through colder months. By sending winter provisions, HHRD aims to ease the freeze and help those in need. The HHRD Africa Floods Program addresses the 1.7 million people internally displaced due to EL Niño, with 1.3 billion dollars contributed to relief efforts.

HHRD has developmental programs and projects in Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, and Tanzania, including the 'School of Excellence' in Somalia, healthcare and nutrition, water accessibility, WASH, orphan support, children with disabilities, skills development, livelihood, youth empowerment, and seasonal programs.
