Night 4 - Taraweeh Times Square 2023

Muslims observing Ramadan broke their fast and offered Taraweeh prayers in New York City’s Times Square.

On Saturday (March 25, 2023), 2000 iftar meals were served to Muslims on the sidewalks of Times Square, the city’s busiest artery.  Later that evening hundreds of Muslims participated in Taraweeh prayers at Times Square. A projector displayed verses from the Holy Quran as they were recited, along with English translations.
