Coalition to Preserve Human Dignity

During the last ten days of Ramadan while fasting on December 1st 2002, the Muslim community of Southern California organized a major effort to bring some comfort to the homeless. More than 4,000 people were fed and clothed during this humanitarian drive organized as Coalition to Preserve Human Dignity under the leadership of Ilm Foundation.

Over 4000 were served In addition to food, attendees received socks, towels, blankets and more. Isha Saafir, Sherrell Johnson, Sabiha Khan pose by the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic Bus which administered free health screenings.
