Taraweeh Prayers from Masjid Al-Nabawi Madinah - Ramadan 29th, 1442 (May 10th, 2021)
Imam: Sheikh Muhanna

Taraweeh, also known as qiyamul-lail (night prayer), is a voluntary prayer performed by Muslims during Ramadan. The time to pray Taraweeh is the whole night after Isha prayer before Fajr time, however usually performed immediately after Isha Prayer. Taraweeh prayer can be performed in congregation at the Mosque or alone at home. Performing Taraweeh prayer in congregation at the Mosque is one of the most popular activities during the month of Ramadan. However, Prophet Muhammad was recorded to only perform 3 Taraweeh prayers in congregation at the Mosque because he was worried that Muslims would consider Taraweeh as an obligatory prayer.
