EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the four characteristics of Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). He was a companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and one of the most prominent figures in Islamic history due to his knowledge, piety, and devotion to Allah's cause. During his twelve Hajjs and Umrahs, Ubaid b. Juraij noticed four distinct qualities in Abdullah ibn Umar that made him stand out from other people; he was always humble, generous, patient, and contented with whatever Allah has given him in life. These qualities are essential for any Muslim who wishes to live a life pleasing to Allah as they demonstrate an attitude of gratitude towards Him for all His blessings while also showing humility before Him at all times. Furthermore, these qualities can help us become better Muslims by teaching us how to remain steadfast in our faith even when faced with difficult circumstances or hardships in life; it teaches us how to remain patient and contented despite our struggles so that we may continue striving for His pleasure without becoming overwhelmed or discouraged by our difficulties along the way.
