QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other people’s decisions & choices when it comes to religious practices such as fasting.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of not judging others for their fasting habits, whether they choose to fast or not while travelling. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself observed fast in a journey or he did not observe it too. This teaches us that we should respect other people's decisions and choices when it comes to religious practices such as fasting, even if we do things differently ourselves. We should also remember that Allah knows best what is best for each individual person and so we should never judge someone else's actions without knowing the full story behind them. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us of the importance of being kind and respectful towards one another regardless of our differences in opinion or practice.
