The Importance of Giving to Neighbours

SUMMARY: Giving even small items to one's neighbour is an important part of being a Muslim woman.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: O Muslim women, none of you should consider even a sheep's trotter too insignificant to give to her neighbour.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ
