Pray humbly and patiently to Allah

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer for rain. It is narrated that he pointed the back of his hands to the sky when praying for rain. This shows us that Muslims should be humble and patient when asking Allah for something, as it is He who provides us with all our needs and blessings. We should also remember that we are not in control of anything but ourselves and our actions; only Allah can provide us with what we need or want. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us to be thankful and grateful to Allah whenever He blesses us with something, whether it be a material blessing or a spiritual one such as guidance or knowledge.
