QUICK LESSONS:
Be devoted & sincere while praying .
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik tells us about the Prophet Muhammad's supplications for rain. He raised his hands so high that the whiteness of his armpits became visible. This shows us how earnestly he prayed to Allah for rain and how devoted he was to fulfilling this duty as a messenger of Allah. It also teaches us that we should be sincere in our prayers and put forth our best effort when asking Allah for something. We should also remember that whatever we ask from Him will be given if it is good for us in this life and the hereafter.
