This hadith is about how to perform salat, or prayer, in a group setting with others present. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ demonstrated how to do this by leading a fear prayer, which is a special type of prayer that is done when there is danger or fear present in an area. He began by saying “Allahu Akbar”, which means “God is great”, and everyone else repeated it after him as they all stood together for their prayers. Then he bowed down for his ruku', which means bowing down during prayer, followed by sujud or prostration on the ground afterwards while everyone else followed suit with their own bows and prostrations as well.
