Sahih Muslim 612c (Book 5, Hadith 221) #8535
Learning & Teaching Quran

SUMMARY: The best people are those who learn and teach the Quran.

Abu Bakr b Abu Shaiban and Yahya b Abu Bukair both of them narrated this hadith with the same chain of transmitters.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ‏.‏ وَفِي حَدِيثِهِمَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ رَفَعَهُ مَرَّةً وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ

This hadith is about learning and teaching the Quran. It emphasizes on how important it is to learn and teach the holy book of Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that those who do this are among the best people in society. This hadith encourages us to read, understand, memorize, and share knowledge from the Quran with others so we can benefit from its teachings in our lives. It also teaches us to be humble when we share knowledge as we should not think ourselves better than others because of our knowledge or skills but instead use it for good deeds for Allah's sake only.
