EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the time frames for each of the five daily prayers that Muslims are obligated to perform. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the time of noon prayer lasts until it is afternoon; the time of afternoon prayer lasts until sunset; evening prayer lasts until after sunset when there is a spreading appearance of redness above the horizon; night prayer lasts until midnight and morning prayer lasts until sunrise. It is important to note that these times are based on local times and not universal times as they vary from place to place. Therefore it is important to know what your local times are in order to pray at their designated times.

This hadith also teaches us about discipline and punctuality as we must be mindful about our obligations and fulfill them within their designated timeframe in order to reap its rewards from Allah SWT. Additionally, this hadith encourages us to be mindful about our actions throughout our day so that we can make sure we have enough time left over for our prayers before they expire.
