Follow what Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) did during his prayer; recite Quranic verses; strive for proper pronunciation when reciting Quran; be patient while praying; obey Allah's commands .

The hadith narrated by Abu Qatada tells us that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to recite Surat Al Fatiha and two other surahs in his prayers. He would prolong the first rak’ah more than the second one. This is a practice that Muslims should follow when they pray their five daily prayers as it was taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. It is important to remember that reciting Quran during prayer is an act of worship which will bring us closer to Allah SWT and increase our faith in Him. We should strive to make sure we are reciting Quran correctly with proper pronunciation so we can reap its full rewards from Allah SWT.
